The standing committee of the political bureau of CPC central committee held a meeting to analyze the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic and the economic situation at home and abroad on 19 March 2020.

The meeting stressed to strengthen research and analysis of the international economic situation and formulate targeted policy measures timely. We should give consideration to the prevention and control of the epidemic and foreign economic and trade cooperation, facilitate the flow of business personnel while implementing epidemic prevention, keep the international supply chain unimpeded, innovate investment attraction and exhibition service modes, and ensure the normal development of various economic and trade activities.

China’s president has said that a good event leads to city success and there’s no chance without exhibitions. People need to connect with each other again after the epidemic that only lasts temporarily.
